HUGE POSITIVE UPDATE ON BUKAYO SAKA HAMSTRING INJURY
Arsenal have received a significant boost on the injury to star forward Bukayo Saka
Arsenal have received a significant boost regarding Bukayo Saka ‘s hamstring injury, with reports suggesting the England star will not require surgery after a specialist consultation.
The Gunners had feared the worst when Saka was forced off just 25 minutes into their emphatic 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last week.
Initial concerns were so grave that the club arranged an immediate scan on the night of the match, fearing the possibility of a detached hamstring. Bukayo Saka, who left the stadium on crutches, left fans and staff worried about the extent of the damage
Manager Mikel Arteta admitted the club was “really worried” about Saka’s condition, but a recent update from X user Hand of Ozil has provided some relief, confirming the winger will avoid surgery. However, he is still expected to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Saka’s injury is a major blow for Arsenal, who are already contending with several absences, including Raheem Sterling, Saka’s natural replacement in the squad, who is sidelined with a knee injury sustained in training.
Arteta, however, remains optimistic, suggesting Saka’s absence will challenge him to become a better manager. “This is a pivotal moment for us,” Arteta said ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Ipswich at the Emirates on Friday. “We need to adapt and find solutions.”
The Gunners are preparing for a grueling schedule that includes nine fixtures in January, starting with a north London derby against Tottenham, an FA Cup third-round tie against Manchester United, and the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle.
