ARSENAL OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN £65M STRIKER ON LOAN IN JANUARY
Arsenal and other Premier League clubs have been offered the opportunity to sign £65m striker on loan in January
Arsenal are reportedly exploring options to strengthen their attacking lineup ahead of the January transfer window, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Randal Kolo Muani emerging as a potential target.
The Gunners’ need for attacking reinforcements has been amplified by Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury, which is expected to sideline the England international for at least two months. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his squad as the club pushes for domestic and European success this season.
Kolo Muani, a World Cup 2022 finalist with France, has been offered to several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal. The 26-year-old forward has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Tottenham, with both clubs reportedly seeking additional attacking options.
PSG, who signed Kolo Muani for £64.2 million plus add-ons during the summer of 2023, are open to a potential loan move in January. However, the French champions are likely to include an option to buy in any deal, with discussions expected to determine the price for a permanent transfer.
According to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, Kolo Muani prefers a move to the Premier League despite interest from clubs in Italy and Turkey. Sources close to the player’s camp suggest he is seeking the right club to secure regular playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The striker’s time at PSG has been challenging, with limited opportunities to feature in the starting lineup. Kolo Muani has started only twice in Ligue 1 and once in the Champions League this season, with his last league start dating back to September. He has scored just two goals, the most recent of which came on September 1.
Despite his struggles in Paris, Kolo Muani remains highly regarded in France. National team captain Kylian Mbappé has previously praised his teammate, describing him as a “very complete” forward who offers versatility and a significant presence on the pitch.
